Introduciton

Tunghou Historic Trail starts off at Wulai Township in Taipei and ends at Jiaosi Township in Yilan. Originally, it was a hunting trail set up by Atayal hunters to enter Syue Mountains; now, it is a very popular hiking trail. Walking on the trail, you will feel the fresh air in the low-elevation mixed forest. Besides, the beautiful Tunghou creek goes along with it. When the trail crosses the Syue Mountains, you can see the rural scenery of Yilan Plain.
