In the 19 century, Fisherman’s Trail used to be the main connecting road between Chingshan in the northeast Taiwan and Taipei City. The trail got its name because fishermen in Chingshan used the trail to carry their fish to Taipei for sale. Nowadays, it is a popular hiking trail in Yungmingshan National Park. There are some famous tourist spots on the trail, including Silk Waterfall, Cingtiangang grassland and the Bayen hot spring.

*Back*
